Having taken an interest in jazz guitar at 16 years old, Walker eventually learned how to produce music and mastered plenty of instruments along the way. As someone who’s lived in Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago, it’s no surprise that Walker’s growing discography is just as interesting as his fascinating life story. Showcasing his undeniably charming sonic tendencies, Walker is pleased to present his luscious new single, “I’ll Be Right Here.”

Fusing together bedroom pop and R&B, “I’ll Be Right Here” is dreamy, lovely, and heartwarming. Considering how Walker penned “I’ll Be Right Here” about finally feeling at home after so long, we fully understand why this comforting track feels like the squeeze of an overdue hug. If you haven’t already, we invite you to bask in Walker’s impeccable vocals and timeless sensibilities in “I’ll Be Right Here.”

On “I’ll Be Right Here,” Walker shared,

“This is a song about comfort, community, and making a home. I never quite felt I had a ‘home’ in the deeper sense after I left California at 19. And after looking back, I realized that what I had as a kid wasn’t much of a home, either. Here in Chicago, after growing up in LA and spending a few years for school in NYC, I’ve created my first true ‘home’ and my circle of friends.”
