Srikar Nanduri, Manas Panchavati, Tanmay Joshi, Abhi Manhass, and Maro Luka altered the alternative pop sphere for the better when they surfaced as Weston Estate. Based in North Carolina, the rising quintet knows no boundaries when it comes to catchy hits with infectious sonics. Back with yet another fantastic track, Weston Estate has unleashed their fiery new single, “Drown.”

Equal parts groovy and sultry, “Drown” offers the very best of Weston Estate’s genre-defying sensibilities. Revolving around the adventure-packed summers each of the fellas experienced, “Drown” touches on those blissful summer romances you wish would never come to an end. Polished with slick production, “Drown” has us begging Weston Estate for more delectable cuts.

On “Drown,” Weston Estate shared,

“This summer we all experienced our own separate adventures. Manas went to Sweden, Marco moved out to LA, and Srikar traveled to India and Turkey. Abhi and Tanmay stayed local to NC, but all of us experienced our own form of new relationships. Whether they were ones we were rebuilding in ourselves, or ones with other places or people, we found new meanings this summer. This song is a reflection of those relationships, and the bittersweetness that comes with being so connected to something but knowing that you can’t stay for long. The conflicting feelings that come from not being able to be committed to someone who you’ve had a connection with is something that has been felt within all of us.”
