After one listen of merci, mercy, you’d fully understand why she has plenty of fans around the globe. Although the Australian songstress tends to incorporate lively instrumentals into her discography, she makes it a point to pen darker lyricism that offers a perfect juxtaposition. If you aren’t already, it’s about time you become a merci, mercy fan by way of her lively new single, “Into You.”
Drenched in experimental synths and playful guitars, “Into You” gets us off our feet and turns our living room into a dance floor. Capturing the exact emotions she experienced throughout a past relationship, merci, mercy manages to transform a not-so-great memory into an alternative pop hit. By the end of this vibrant tune, we’re in awe of how obsessed we are with the Sydney-based artist.
