With an indescribable poise and girl-next-door charisma, Avery Lynch is a natural at penning heartfelt ballads that reel us in with every verse. It’s no surprise that this indie pop star in the making has a major Gen Z fanbase, but it’s worth noting that listeners of all ages continue to resonate with Lynch’s touching discography. As a change of scenery from her signature melancholy cuts, Lynch is picking up the pace with her nostalgic new single, “Sleepover.”

A carefree track about reliving some of Lynch’s most cherished memories, “Sleepover” will undoubtedly put a smile on your face. Drenched in bouncy sonics and Lynch’s infectious energy, “Sleepover” is exactly what we needed to hear today. Needless to say, “Sleepover” is your sign to throw an unforgettable sleepover with your besties.

On “Sleepover,” Avery Lynch reflected,

“I wrote ‘Sleepover’ about what it was like living in Boston with my boyfriend and our friends. In the beginning of our relationship, we would meet at the train station when I got out of class, we’d go to this little convenience store near his apartment to get snacks, and then we’d head to his apartment to watch cartoons and eventually fall asleep. Later when we were living together in a house with our friends, we would all go on Walgreens runs to get snacks and come back and watch movies together. I wrote ‘Sleepover’ to try and capture how much fun that all was.”
