Getting their unique start on the shores of Oahu in 2015, the moss has become an indie rock band you’ll never forget. Now based in Utah, the fun-loving quartet is blessing the Great Salt Lake State with their jangly guitars and island-inspired sounds day in and day out. To introduce you to their infectious energy, we’re pleased to present the moss’ colorful new single, “Insomnia.”

Although “Insomnia” is all about not being able to fall asleep without someone, this instrumentally-diverse track makes us wonder why we’d even want to doze off if we could stream the moss instead. With wildly explosive choruses and playful cowbells, “Insomnia” is doing all the right things for our eardrums. Even if you don’t particularly enjoy indie rock as much as other genres, the moss will manage to convince you otherwise with just one listen.

On “Insomnia,” the moss shared,

“[‘Insomnia’ is a] bittersweet song about passing the point in a relationship where you can’t sleep at night when you are away from them.”
