If you’re a fan of Jeremy Zucker or Charlie Puth, we have an especially delectable treat for you, and he goes by the name of Lyle Kam. After graduating university, Kam is now turning his full attention to making music into a career while shining light on Asian-Canadian artists who’ve been struggling to put their name on the map. Without further ado, we invite you to bask in the perfection that is Kam’s pulsating new single, “somebody to you.”
Ethereal synths paired with irresistible beats will never get old, and “somebody to you” proves exactly that. While Kam wavers between his commitments, “somebody to you” offers some understanding as to why major life decisions can be so burdensome. Although this introspective track may not necessarily tell you which choice is the right one, “somebody to you” convinces us that Kam needs to be on your radar immediately.
