Wherever there’s a dance floor with flashing disco lights, Yam Haus should most certainly be blasting on the speakers. Made of Lars Pruitt, Jake Felstow, Zach Beinlich, and Seth Blum, the Minneapolis quartet was featured on American Song Contest earlier this year. Just a few months later, Yam Haus is back with a contagious new single, “Phoning It In.”
Absolutely drenched in the best vibes, “Phoning It In” is all about living life to the fullest and not sweating the small stuff. Between the bouncy production and catchy choruses, “Phoning It In” could be the song of the summer. With no plans of slowing down, Yam Haus will certainly continue to make waves in the alternative pop scene.
On “Phoning It In,” Yam Haus shared,
“Released one year later to the day. Also the week of Simon’s birthday. Didn’t plan that way but it’s cool when things work out like that … When you write, you never know what’s gonna come out, what’s gonna connect. It feels really good to have this song out in the air now! Hope you like it as much as we do!”
