Anna Sofia may only be 17 years old, but she produces alternative pop bangers as if she’s been doing this for much longer. From performing at her parents’ local Greek restaurant to amassing millions of streams, it’s safe to say Sofia has grown into quite the modern day musician. To keep her streak alive, Sofia has unleashed yet another fantastic new single, “6ft Under.”
Wavy electronics and pulsating percussion are just a taste of what Sofia has to offer in “6ft Under.” Fearful of who she’s become, Sofia penned “6ft Under” as a way to steer others away from letting someone pick and choose their best and worst qualities. To top it off, the accompanying visual treats us to two versions of Sofia that run off into the ominous darkness together.
On “6ft Under,” Anna Sofia reflected,
“I wrote ‘6ft Under’ about someone who tried to change me into who they wanted to be with. They had me so far removed from myself that I felt like my true self was gone forever. ‘6ft Under’ is a metaphor for burying who I really am for this person.”
