At just 24 years old, Bailey Baum knows how to perfectly capture the 20-something experience through her emotive songwriting. Whether she’s reminiscing about past relationships or exploring her options, Baum manages to do so in a way that leaves us fully enraptured. Ahead of her forthcoming debut EP, Over It, Baum is pleased to present her dreamy new single, “Bad For Me.”
Broken hearts are never easy to mend, but Baum is here to speed up the process with “Bad For Me.” Not only is this heartbreaking cut filled with overwhelming emotions, but it forces us to accept the conditions of the inevitable breakup. Whether it’s the atmospheric synths or soothing vocals, “Bad For Me” is a wonderful sonic offering we’re incredibly pleased with.
On “Bad For Me,” Bailey Baum shared,
“I wrote this in 2020 with some incredible songwriters, Cameron Mitchell and Emily Fullerton, during the process of healing from a heartbreak. I wanted to fall back into the person because I missed them but I knew doing that was bad for me, which inspired the song.”
