Whether she’s zoning in on her personal experiences with family, friends, or really anything else, Dasha’s vulnerable music makes us feel like we’re having a conversation with her. Following her recent EP, $hiny Things, Dasha is hopping right back into the release game with her breathtaking new single, “Love Me Till August.”
On “Love Me Till August,” Dasha shared,
“Everytime I listen back to this song, it hurts a little. It’s so much harder to walk away from someone you care about because of factors that are out of your control.”
If you close your eyes and really visualize what Dasha’s singing about in “Love Me Till August,” we guarantee you’ll be shedding a few tears by the end of this emotive track. With simple instrumentation and soft-spoken harmonies, “Love Me Till August” lets us hear Dasha’s raw talent like never before. “I wrote ‘Love Me Till August’ by myself in less than an hour after getting sent a guitar loop by the producer [frequent San Holo collaborator, The Nicholas]… It’s weird, I barely even remember writing the song. The words just came out of me.”
