It’s been over a year since we’ve gotten to indulge in new music from Abby Sage, but trust us when we say the wait was well worth it. Growing up in a musical family and discovering her passion for songwriting led Sage to pen some of the most stunning tracks we’ve stumbled across. Finally making her long awaited return, Sage has unveiled her alluring new single, “Smoke Break.”
We all know what it feels like when certain relationships are nearing their end, and it’s this very concept that Sage recounts in “Smoke Break.” While different people may react in their own ways, “Smoke Break” speaks for those who lean towards apathy in certain situations–just as Sage does. Sonically, we aren’t surprised that Sage is leaving us hopelessly in love with her darling vocals and atmospheric electronics that sound like martians are about to invade Earth.
On “Smoke Break,” Abby Sage shared,
“First single off my debut EP… this one feels good, hehe.”
