Considering how much buzz there is around her, It’s safe to say hannah hausman has come a long way since her poetry writing days at age seven. The Los Angeles-based talent even lost her voice for a year, and yet, here she is delivering infectious indie pop. On “whole foods parking lot,” hannah hausman shared, 

“I felt like I was just getting over everything and then seeing my ex sent me spiraling backwards. It was such a weird feeling and I didn’t know what to do, so I came home, started playing the piano, and wrote this song.”

hausman has always been at the forefront of crafting emotive songs about young love, and “whole foods parking lot” is no different. As hausman recollects what it was like to unexpectedly run into her ex, “whole foods parking lot” suggests that she has now mastered self-love since the breakup. Layered with stirring electronics and charming vocals, “whole foods parking lot” will leave you feeling whole again.

“Writing this song helped me find a sense of closure – not only for the event but for the relationship as a whole. In a sense, the song is everything I wanted to say to him in that moment and helped me find freedom to let go of the bitter, unsettling feelings I was holding… If he hears it, he will definitely know it’s about him.”
