Coming in hot from Nashville is carobae, the indie pop newcomer ready to dominate your airwaves. Whether it’s her stellar production or emotive songwriting, we admire most about carobae is her undeniable independence as an artist. Before she unveils her highly anticipated new EP, The Longest Year: Part Two, carobae continues to amaze us with her vulnerable new single, “Talking to Myself.”

Self-destructive behavior can do a lot to a person, and carobae knows this all too well in “Talking to Myself.” Although this pensive cut revolves around how carobae views herself negatively, we can’t help but manifest how her music career is about to skyrocket. If you haven’t already, do yourself a favor and add carobae to your radar immediately.

On “Talking to Myself,” carobae reflected,

“Wrote this one in Colorado last year with Megan Redmond, during a time when I was really hard on myself.”
