Born and raised in the tiny seaside town of Mattapoisett, Hunter Moreau would eventually find herself performing with a community service singing troupe all around Massachusetts. Making it a priority for her to step out of her comfort zone, Moreau digs deep into her heart when it comes to her personal songwriting. Ready to win you over, Moreau is pleased to present her gorgeously dreamy new single, “Hazy.”
On “Hazy,” Hunter Moreau reflected,
“As simple as it may sound, ‘Hazy’ is about the pure bliss of summer nights. Doug and I were reminiscing about stories with friends, both new and old, and the magic that seems to happen on warm nights where nothing seems to really matter.”
All of you Grease fans out there must know there ain’t nothing like a fast-burning summer love. As the fleeting days get the best of Moreau, “Hazy” hears the promising newcomer grasping onto the carefree moments for as long as she can. From the nostalgic melodies to the laid back instrumentals, “Hazy” most certainly proves that Moreau belongs on your radar.
“We wrote this song to capture the nostalgia of looking back on those carefree times, and the longing of that same feeling again. The feeling that no other moment matters besides right now. The excitement of not caring how exactly you’re going to get home, or where you even are. But just knowing that you want whatever feeling this is to last forever.”
