Mighloe has never been one to hold herself back, and this unapologetic personality of hers shines right through in her growing discography. Having been highlighted by plenty of R&B platforms, the Toronto-based artist has cemented herself as one of the most anticipated R&B acts of 2021. Ahead of her forthcoming EP, Desperate Times, Mighloe is treating us to her jaw-dropping new single, “Don’t Call Me.”

On “Don’t Call Me,” Mighloe reflected,

“Writing ‘Don’t Call Me’ came from a place of being fed up. There are so many people that come in and out of our lives, and sometimes these people hinder our stability and sense of self. This song was my way of saying, ‘Enough!’”

After realizing just how destructive people can be, Mighloe crafted “Don’t Call Me” as a way to release this negative presence from her life. Serving as some sort of musical therapy, “Don’t Call Me” is drenched in silky charms and Mighloe’s otherworldly vocals. Considering how spellbinding “Don’t Call Me” is, we have no doubt that Mighloe will continue to impress in the foreseeable future.

“I will no longer let these people take parts of myself. It’s me realizing that my energy is sacred and will not be disturbed. It’s the final ‘Fuck You’ but say it politely. ‘Don’t Call Me.’”
