It’s been quite a few years since Decorator treated us to some righteous tunes, but now they’re back and better than ever. The Los Angeles-based band isn’t necessarily tied to a single genre, and that’s exactly what we appreciate about them. After spending the past year in quarantine slowly building their discography, Decorator returns from their seven-year hiatus with their sultry new single, “Savage.”
Drunk nights and mysterious strangers seem to go hand in hand, and that’s exactly what the narrative follows in “Savage.” With disco subtleties layered beneath fierce vocals, “Savage” is practically an invitation to the dimly lit dance floor. Even if you’ve never laid your ears on Decorator before, you definitely won’t regret giving “Savage” a spin.
On “Savage,” Decorator shared,
“This song is an account of the pursuit of an elusive woman met one night in a drunken stupor. Not much is remembered of her besides a strong connection felt, vague memories, and a million burning questions.”
