After being featured on an Italian children’s music show at ten years old, Ella Rossi became absolutely mesmerized by the act of singing. Like plenty of other musicians in the modern age, Rossi posts covers online that garner thousands of views; but unlike those artists, this 19-year-old newcomer proves exactly why she deserves your attention with ease. If you’re at all into R&B, we highly suggest you give Rossi a spin with her dreamy new single, “Fairytale.”
On “Fairytale,” Ella Rossi shared,
“So um… ‘Fairytale’ is finally out into the world!! I’ve been talking about putting out original music for so long and I can’t believe it’s finally happening. I wrote this song back in April 2020 and lemme tell you, I would’ve never imagined that I would have built up enough confidence to release it. I was very new to songwriting and ‘Fairytale’ was one of the first songs I had ever fully finished. The song is about chasing after a delusion you created in your head, even though you know it’s unattainable in real life. Tbh I’m not the best at explaining my feelings so that’s why I wrote a song about it lol.”
Whether you first think of The Notebook or Romeo and Juliet when it comes to romance, “Fairytale” will have you falling head over heels for Rossi. Although Rossi penned this gorgeous ballad fresh into her songwriting career, we can’t help but praise her innate ability to craft stunning narratives. As Rossi’s angelic vocals croon the soothing lyrics, “Fairytale” leaves us completely entranced like never before.
