If you’re an avid reader of ours, Devin Kennedy needs no introduction. However, you may not be familiar with the name, Caroline Kole–who has opened for country stars like Reba and Blake Shelton. Well, Kennedy and Kole have now joined forces to impress us with their irresistible new single, “Mean to Me.”
Written about our internal state of mind, “Mean to Me” suggests that we just may be our own worst enemy. Decorated with shimmery electronics, “Mean to Me” will release dopamine and serotonin into your brain like you’d never expect. As the current pandemic remains life-threatening, we’re extremely thankful that Kennedy and Kole managed to create an astounding track like “Mean to Me” virtually.
On “Mean to Me,” Caroline Kole explained,
“Our paths crossed earlier last year and we knew we wanted to collaborate in some way. Though we couldn’t be in the same room together to record this, FaceTime closed the gap between LA and Nashville. [I’m] anxiously awaiting the day we can play it live in front of actual people.”
