Considering the major turmoil we experienced last year, is it safe to say 2021 will be any better? Before you answer that, keep in mind that slenderbodies and Crooked Colours have just unveiled a heavenly collaboration we truly don’t deserve. If you’re in the mood for some musical euphoria, allow slenderbodies and Crooked Colours to take you away with their atmospheric new single, “superpowerful.”
Featuring slenderbodies’ signature downtempo soundscapes alongside Crooked Colours’ elevated verses, “superpowerful” really does make us feel like we’re dancing on the Milky Way. What’s so beautiful is that “superpowerful” instills a sense of invincibility in us, which inspired slenderbodies’ philanthropic causes. In efforts to raise awareness for The Trevor Project, a non-profit that focuses on suicide prevention among LGBTQ+, slenderbodies’ fans are encouraged to sign petitions, donate, and share “superpowerful” on socials to win a virtual meet and greet with the mystifying duo.
