From working full-time at his parents’ dry-cleaning business to amassing millions of streams in just a few years, Hojean is quite the versatile fellow. What’s noteworthy about this Korean-American talent is that he writes, mixes, and produces his darling tunes straight out of his bedroom. For someone who wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Hojean has single handedly built himself up to be an indie icon, so it only makes sense that he’s back with his precious new single, “weekends.”
Opening with hazy guitars, “weekends” has us craving morning cuddles and wholesome coffee dates. Whether it’s Hojean’s irresistible falsettos or the sweet lyricism, “weekends” has us falling in love with this Georgia-based charmer. Although 2020 didn’t pan out the way we expected, we’re very thankful Hojean blessed us with the priceless gem that is “weekends.”
