Sam.Sts only recently landed on our radar, but we’re so glad he’s here now. With a bedroom-production approach we’re absolutely loving, the 20-year-old is well worth your time. It’s so refreshing to say Sam.Sts is finally treating us to his first release of 2020 with his wholesome new single, “Only One I Know.”
Change can be daunting for most of us, and Sam.Sts can definitely relate. As Sam.Sts reminisces about the terrifying transition from his reckless teenage years to young adulthood, “Only One I Know” reminds us to open ourselves up to the world. The accompanying visual features an Animal Crossing-esque version of Sam.Sts in a simple rowboat as his world spins to no avail.
On “Only One I Know,” Sam.Sts reflected,
“When I was writing this, I was preparing to head off to my first semester of college in Chicago and just in a heavy transition period in my life in general.”
