Arlo Parks has always been a kind and genuine soul, and it really shows in her mature songwriting. While Parks continues to gain more traction every day, she’s thrilled to announce her highly-anticipated debut album, Collapsed In Sunbeams. But until that arrives in January, we’re pleased to present her alluring new single, “Green Eyes.”
Drizzled in woozy production and airy vocals, “Green Eyes” makes us fall in love with Parks all over again. As Parks explores the parts of complicated life we can’t live without, “Green Eyes” truly does offer comfort in a time of anxiety and stress. Directed by Louis Bhose, the “Green Eyes” visual shows Parks living a normal teenage life, but she’s completely zoned out.
On “Green Eyes,” Arlo Parks explained,
“This is a song about self-discovery, self-acceptance and adolescence. It is supposed to uplift and comfort those going through hard times.”
