About 60 miles east of Los Angeles lives your new favorite R&B obsession: Brandon. After his family immigrated from Trindad years ago, the Riverside artist is now showcasing his musical talents for the entire world to indulge in. For all you introverts out there, Brandon will resonate with you in ways you didn’t know were possible with his lovely new single, “Baby.”
On “Baby,” Brandon shared,
“I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out what I want to write for hours, but I can’t seem to find the words. For once, I guess I don’t really have much to say. I think I’m just grateful that I’m in a place where I am able to share music again.”
With an organic fanbase, Brandon is easily one of the most natural-born talents we’ve discovered yet, and “Baby” fully reinforces that. Between the comforting guitars and Brandon’s soulful crooning, “Baby” is an utterly gorgeous track we certainly don’t deserve. Along with this single release comes a visual tribute to his hometown–featuring Riverside’s recognizable citrus groves and must-visit hiking spots.
“I’ve been very eager to share this next tune for a while now. It brings back a lot of memories. Most of which I’m fond of, but some I’d like to leave in the past. It’s a special one, but what follows will be even better–to say the least. I hope you’re as ready as I am.”
