Although Lotus Ma’at only has three singles under her belt, she’s most definitely a force to be reckoned with. Born in the Philippines, Ma’at has always loved music, but it wasn’t until last year that she hopped on our airwaves and became one of our latest obsessions. Ahead of her forthcoming debut EP, GET LO, Ma’at is teasing us with a lovely visual for her latest single, “Just Talk.”
With silky vocals that pair incredibly well with a simple acoustic guitar, “Just Talk” has Ma’at being the most truthful and vulnerable she’s ever been. To top it off, the “Just Talk” visual offers a sunset as breathtaking as Ma’at’s voice as she finally confesses her feelings to someone. Truth be told, “Just Talk” was already flawless without an accompanying visual, but we’re so glad we have one now.
On “Just Talk,” Lotus Ma’at explained,
“I’ve been in a situation where I was confused about my feelings for someone but one thing I knew for sure was how special the connection was to me and how things are smooth between us. I’d rather keep it on that level and be honest about it.”
