In a time of chaos, Ben Brown is neo-soul’s fearless savior. The Londoner has been making music for a few years, but it seems like he has now mastered his fusion of soul, disco, and pop. Having already performed at some of the UK’s most notable festivals, Brown continues to impress us with a delectable new single, “Socks and Sliders.”

As someone who absolutely refuses to let public opinion influence his decisions, Brown exudes conviction like never before with “Socks and Sliders.” Between the jazzy percussion and Brown’s charming vocals, “Socks and Sliders” is everything we could ask for. If you’re in need of a confidence boost, “Socks and Sliders” will inspire you to live your best life.

On “Socks and Sliders,” Ben Brown shared,

“I don’t care if people think socks and sliders (slides in American English) look stupid because there are crazy comfortable, so I’m going to wear them anyway! I wanted to create a summery and easy-going mood, with lyrics that aren’t meant to be taken too seriously. The lyrics were designed to create a point of interest even for people who wouldn’t normally associate themselves with this genre of music, which I think adds a whole new dimension to the song. The primary aim on the whole is to make people feel good, or at least crack a smile at how obscure the subject matter is!”
