Michi must have some kind of magical power because she captivates us with every breathtaking release. The Los Angeles based artist dabbled in guitar and piano as a child, but now it’s more evident than ever that music is most definitely her life’s calling. Considering how insanely talented this R&B pop songstress is, it’d be remiss to overlook Michi’s irresistible new single, “Sugarbaby.”
“Sugarbaby” is as seductive as it is gorgeous, and Michi’s honeyed vocals in this remarkably sweet track are truly out of this world. With doo-wop inspired electric guitar licks, “Sugarbaby” is sure to instantly put a smile on your face. “‘Sugarbaby’ is a sentimental ode to expressing love and admiration for that special someone. While the task of creating during quarantine was not easy, the song for me was an escape into a colorful place, and the chance to express adoration of a lover in all their beauty and light.”
