To be completely honest, We the Commas is everything we could ever want from an R&B and jazz fusion. The San Diego-based trio made their thrilling debut earlier this year, and they’re ready to wow us again with even more timeless tracks. If you haven’t already, we invite you to travel back in time to the good ol’ days with We the Commas’ new single, “Custom Made.”

On “Custom Made,” We the Commas shared,

“The idea for ‘Custom Made’ came completely spontaneously and it was one of those songs that practically birthed itself. This track is a deeper dive into our sound and really gives a feel for who We the Commas is.”

As proven by the soft acoustics and soothing vocals, We the Commas really went all out and tailored “Custom Made” to our exact liking. Whether it’s because of the enrapturing song’s jazzy feel or the San Diego band’s innate charisma, we’re absolutely smitten by this nostalgic offering. The accompanying visual follows We the Commas as they frantically switch outfits to figure out which ensemble makes them feel the most true to themselves, but it’s up to you to find out which look they agreed on.

“It’s different because we are bringing in elements from ‘50s pop, R&B, and classic jazz, which is a combination we don’t see much in today’s mainstream music. We’re inspired by so many different genres and our songs bring together those elements to create something that best represents us and our experiences.”
