Kid Bloom has always amazed us, and his latest offering is no different. With an avid fanbase, the Los Angeles-based stunner continues to connect with listeners through his psychedelic indie righteousness. As his second release of the year, “Sledgehammer” offers the classic Kid Bloom vibes we’re totally obsessed with.
Reminiscent of ‘70s love ballads, “Sledgehammer” is a slow-tempo track featuring slightly jaunty keys paired with groovy bass lines. “Sledgehammer” revolves around Kid Bloom’s personal life as he feels like something is wrong, but he can’t quite figure out what it is. The accompanying visual makes us feel like we’re taking a wonderful trip through Kid Bloom’s eclectic sonics by way of a versatile green screen.
