Vancouver’s Mcevoy isn’t here to be the next household name. Rather, the young creative is blazing a path of his own–free of expectations and guidelines. With neo-R&B influences, Mcevoy is cooking up a storm with his vulnerable new single, “Bucket.”
Fully aware of the insecurities he’s garnered throughout his relationship, “Bucket” pushes the Canadian artist to overcome these hardships. Between 169’s stirring electronics and Mcevoy’s touching vocals, “Bucket” is a seamless track fit for late night drives. If you haven’t already, we invite you to add Mcevoy to your radar because his talent is wholeheartedly undeniable.
On “Bucket,” Mcevoy explained,
“The song reflects my insecurities in my relationship and I think by making this song, it’s actually me sort of trying to remind myself that I should let go of those insecurities.”
