Growing up between India and California, Sanjana has blossomed into a rising talent we’re more than pleased to introduce you to. With gorgeous vocals and training in Indian classical music, Sanjana isn’t one to be overlooked. As a matter of fact, Sanjana is demanding your attention with her irresistible new single, “Water, I’ll Grow.”
On “Water, I’ll Grow,” Sanjana shared,
“I was inspired to write it when I took a trip to Yosemite with my close friends from college. We had a long discussion about spirituality and free will, and I reflected upon the notion that there is so much that is out of our control as an individual.”
As Sanjana pays respect to meaningful friendships, “Water, I’ll Grow” has her acknowledging that she wouldn’t be who she is today without those around her. The honeyed lyrics layered with precious rhythm guitars in “Water, I’ll Grow” create a soothing soundscape we really can’t get enough of. If you haven’t already, do yourself a favor and add Sanjana to your radars before her music career inevitably skyrockets.
“Ultimately, everything that happens to you, successes and failures alike, are not just up to you and your choices. The people who have championed you throughout your life have helped bring you to where you are, alongside countless other forces. This song is about embracing those influences, being thankful, and acknowledging the role that the people in your life have had in shaping you.”
