If you’re in the mood for some irresistible falsetto righteousness, look no further than rum.gold. This New York-based artist has blossomed into an R&B virtuoso right before our eyes, so it’s about time you add him to your radar. Amidst the Black Lives Matter movement, rum.gold is speaking up for those who haven’t been able to with his heart-wrenching new single, “Fix Me.”

Illuminating Juneteenth, “Fix Me” is about longing for something or someone, but never quite getting what you want. Before he joined in on the Black Lives Matter protests in Washington D.C., rum.gold wrote “Fix Me” as a way to express his frustrations with the current world state. The accompanying visual offers an inviting setting as rum.gold delivers an absolutely stunning performance of “Fix Me.”

On “Fix Me,” rum.gold reflected,

“‘Fix Me’ is the result of spending a lot of time alone. Definitely learned the hard way but it’s the realization that just because you want someone in your life, doesn’t always mean they should be.”
