Based in Los Angeles, Amory Reel is a Korean-American DIY artist ready to earn a spot on your coveted radar. As someone who’s willing to be so vulnerable and raw in his discography, Reel is certainly setting himself up for a very promising future in music. He may only have a few singles to his name, but Reel is leaving us stunned with his intimate new single, “Benton.”
Drenched in delicate pianos and lullaby-esque instrumentals, “Benton” sounds as nostalgic as nostalgia gets. Written about the inevitable changes we experience throughout life, “Benton” has Reel reflecting on his childhood, which now lives on in his memory. Between Reel’s calming aura and the charming melodies, “Benton” will definitely be stuck in our heads for the foreseeable future.
