DYLYN had a minor taste of fame during her dance-pop days, but now she’s taken on an almost unrecognizable persona with more rock influences than anything. Being an enormous fan of Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, DYLYN has a tenacity that only comes around once in a blue moon. More determined than ever before, DYLYN is unleashing her inescapable new single, “Call Me What You Want.”
Heavy metal and punk rock may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but DYLYN has found solace in these bold genres and she even throws in several head bang worthy moments in “Call Me What You Want.” As DYLYN encourages us to ignore the haters, she instills an utmost sense of confidence and acceptance within. The accompanying visual features DYLYN and company in handmade demonic masks as they completely let loose and let the music take them wherever it deems fit.
On “Call Me What You Want,” DYLYN explained,
“‘Call Me What You Want’ is a who gives a fuck about what anyone thinks of you, drive down the highway singing at the top of your lungs with the music blasting kind of song. If you haven’t tried this yet, I highly suggest it. Let it out, let it go.”
