Walthamstow’s Olivia Dean was born with an astoundingly rare amount of talent. Although the South London-based songstress may be young, she holds nothing back when it comes to her musical passion. With only a handful of singles to her name, Dean is taking the R&B world by storm with her gorgeous new single, “Baby Come Home.”

As Dean’s soothing vocals sweep us off our feet, “Baby Come Home” is adorned with tranquil instrumentals that’ll leave you breathless. The refreshingly DIY “Baby Come Home” visual was shot in Dean’s back garden during lockdown, but it offers such a calming presence that can’t be fabricated. As Dean sings about longing for someone, we can’t help but think about how much we miss our loved ones during the current pandemic.

On the “Baby Come Home” video, Olivia Dean shared,

“I’ve spent a lot of time sitting in my garden in isolation. I found it funny how I would sit in a different chair in a different spot, depending on my mood or when the sun was hitting. So I wanted to capture that with the video. I worked out where the sun created an interesting light at different times of the day with some help from my best friend Eleanor and we shot the video on my iPhone over the course of the day. It’s all super DIY but I’m really happy with how it turned out.”
