By Alissa Arunarsirakul // May 29, 2020

Grunge is making a comeback, folks! With a fierceness we’ve yet to experience, Herizen is plunging into the urban pop realm without hesitation. If you recognize her from Netflix’s The Get Down, what more reason do you need to check out her exhilarating new single, “Hellboy?”

A fiery track fueled by heavy bass, “Hellboy” is a reflection of Herizen’s biggest heartbreak, which has brought her new perspectives on love. The multifaceted Cuban-Jamaican may only be 23, but “Hellboy” has us convinced that she’s lived through a lifetime of wild rides. The thrilling visual is drenched in purple accents as Herizen shoots the most bloodthirsty looks straight at the camera.

On “Hellboy,” Herizen explained,

“‘Hellboy’ is a special song about my biggest heartbreak, a wild boy, and pure madness, a love. This is my baby and it is a gift to share it with you.”
