A few years ago, Tucker Pillsbury definitely didn’t expect to garner so much success as ROLE MODEL, but he most certainly has. Fusing together hip hop, pop, and alternative, ROLE MODEL has a remarkable sound that really can’t be replicated. With a newfound sense of confidence, ROLE MODEL is making his mark with a hard hitting new single, “for the people in the back.”
As the genre-bending mastermind wrote “for the people in the back,” he had parted ways with toxic relationships for good. Considering how empowering and liberating the lyricism is, it only makes sense that ROLE MODEL crafted a song he’d want to hear chanted back to him. The accompanying visual follows ROLE MODEL as he prances around an empty warehouse that eventually becomes his personal photography studio.
On “for the people in the back,” ROLE MODEL shared,
“It was a week where I ended a lot of really shitty relationships that were just mentally beating the shit out of me. There’s an underlying tone of acceptance. I had a burst of confidence, which is brand new. I want to hear people scream this song back to me.”
