Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Lili Kendall is the next pop/R&B artist taking the musical world by storm. Kendall has spent the past two years living in Los Angeles as she crafts her forthcoming debut full-length project, which will celebrate womanhood, self-empowerment, love, and life. Before we get to indulge in love, herself, Kendall is treating us to an intoxicating new single, “third degree love crimes.”
A collaboration with producer SLMN, “third degree love crimes” is about going to the extremes because of the intense passion we’re capable of feeling. “third degree love crimes” showcases Kendall’s stunning vocals and hypnotic electronics that’ll leave you in a trance. As Kendall highlights how far we’re willing to go for love, we completely respect her for telling it like it is.
On “third degree love crimes,” Lili Kendall shared,
“We do some crazy shit for, and in, love. And that’s what inspired this song. It was just one of those songs/feelings that was lying dormant in us waiting to be heard, and nothing was going to stop it that day.”
