Whether NoMBe had stayed in Germany or relocated to Los Angeles, he’d still be one of our favorite emerging artists to date. The notable thing about NoMBe is that he’s always been a risk taker; the Los Angeles based talent isn’t afraid to experiment with innovative soundscapes or compelling lyricism. Although the highly anticipated release of his sophomore album CHROMATOPIA has been majorly delayed, NoMBe makes us for it with his lovable new single, “Weirdo.”
On “Weirdo,” NoMBe shared,
“I can’t believe this song is finally coming out… In these strange times, I hope it serves as a reminder that it’s okay to feel weird. It’s okay to be different and you are loved for it.”
As NoMBe intended, “Weirdo” is as spellbinding as it could be. Within seconds of the ethereal track, we’re whisked away to NoMBe’s world of transparency and acceptance. Between NoMBe’s captivating vocals and the countless instruments involved, “Weirdo” truly has no boundaries–just like NoMBe’s promising career.
“This song is really about embracing the quirks and uniqueness of who you love and ultimately, your own. Special thanks to Sofia Hoops and Chris DiStefano whom I wrote this song with on a rainy day in France. Much love!”
