Patricia Lalor may only be 14, but she’s wise beyond her years. Having received praise from Hozier for her “Cherry Wine” cover, Lalor is sure to be the next emerging songwriter to gain major success through her undeniable authenticity. The Dublin native is now unveiling “Sleep Talk,” the first of five tracks she plans to release in the near future.

On “Sleep Talk,“ Patricia Lalor reflected,

“This is a song I wrote about a dream I had, hence the name ‘Sleep Talk.’”

With Lalor’s lush vocals that remind us of fluffy clouds, “Sleep Talk” is a slow-burning track with elements of alternative pop. The euphoric synths and dreamy harmonies are exactly why Lalor deserves to be on your radar. The accompanying visual was filmed in a local movie theater with Lalor and her brother swaying along to “Sleep Talk” in the classic red seats.

“For the video, we wanted a place where we could use the projector my mum bought, so we rented a room from our local cinema, brought my brother along and filmed some ‘scenes’ with popcorn, skateboards and projectors. It was great! I edited it on good old iMovie. It was glitchy, but it did the job. Thanks for listening!”
