With two full-length albums under their belt, Neon Dreams has always been pushing boundaries and experimenting with different musical styles. The Halifax alternative pop duo is comprised of vocalist Frank Kadillac and drummer Adrian Morris, both of whom have been performing since high school. In true Neon Dreams fashion, the talented pair is astonishing us with their engaging new single, “Walk Away.”

On “Walk Away,” Neon Dreams reflected,

“We’ve been reminiscing over late 90s/early 2000s lately, and I remember I was obsessing over the chords the day before I brought them into the session from this old Kid Cudi song I heard when I was a kid called ‘Up Up And Away.’”

As Neon Dreams addresses their doubts about love, “Walk Away” has us contemplating our own perspective on the worldwide phenomenon. Drizzled with luscious synths and dazzling electronics, “Walk Away” makes an effort to incorporate classic guitars to deliver a comforting soundscape. The accompanying visual shows Neon Dreams in a glamorous stretch limo, on a minimalistic couch, and in a ginormous field of blossoming flowers as they dance along to “Walk Away.”

“For some reason, ‘Walk Away’ turned out to sound like an MGMT song when we dove into it with the drums, especially after my friend Nathan Ferraro started belting out that wild, anthemic melody… It was perfect.”
