At just four years old, Christian Paul already considered himself a musical person. After learning how to play the drums, piano, bass, and guitar, the rest of the world can agree that the now 20-year old Paul is, indeed, a musician. Ahead of his forthcoming debut EP, the rising pop/R&B stunner is proud to present his hypnotizing new single, “Here Tonight.”
Written about a failing relationship, “Here Tonight” has Paul maneuvering through dismay as he and his partner begin to lose touch. Amidst the whirling electronics and Paul’s sultry vocals, “Here Tonight” reveals a saddening truth that Paul isn’t afraid to share, which is a mindset we fully praise. In the “Here Tonight” video, Paul and his lover get cozy with each other until they both fade away and we’re left with nothing but an empty bed.
