Ama Lou is easily one of the most authentic and charismatic souls we’ve come to know. It’s been ten years since the London native began writing music at age 11, and we’re absolutely swept off our feet by her mature lyricism and impeccable discography. Taken off her latest EP, Ama, who?, “Far Out” is now accompanied by a stunning visual that offers a vulnerable side to Lou.
The “Far Out” music video is just as raw and intimate as the pure track itself. As the camera shows Lou posing for a photoshoot, we see Lou in all of her beauty as she giggles, smiles, and looks away from the viewfinder. With the graceful pianos of “Far Out” playing in the background, the no-frills visual cuts with Lou looking emotionless by the end.
On the “Far Out” video, Ama Lou shared,
“I thought given how stripped back ‘Far Out’ is, the visual had to represent that also. No big sets, no pre-production and no characters. It’s just me in front of you. Just like the song.”
