We’re so pleased to introduce you to Finland’s rising pop artist, Lxandra. Although she’s from a tiny island with a population of 800, Lxandra is the diamond in the rough who paved her own way to a life filled with music. Building up to her highly anticipated debut album release, Lxandra has unveiled her gorgeous new single, “Glide.”
With faint cathedral bells and driven percussion, “Glide” doesn’t sound like your typical pop banger. What’s so incredibly special about Lxandra is that she refuses to craft the stereotypical pop anthem because what’s the fun in that? As she sings about letting life take its course, we’re absolutely mesmerized by her organic vocals and exceptional range.
On “Glide,” Lxandra explained,
“‘Glide’ is the kind of song that just came out very quickly and easily. I wrote it in LA about two years ago. It’s about that feeling when you don’t know where something is going and it’s maybe not good for you, but at that moment you just let it be and go with it, just glide.”
