Earning major success as the metal band once known as Forevermore, the current members of Chief knew music was their calling even when they ended their former project. Fusing their love of 70s rock and modern pop, Chief’s four members all contribute to the writing, recording, and production process of their growing discography. Although Chief has only been around for a year, you can most certainly expect big things coming from them in 2020.
Chief’s electrifying new single, “We’ll Be Alright” sounds like something straight off a movie soundtrack. With twinkly electronics and endless synths, this upbeat indie pop track offers a side to Chief we’ve never seen before. Taking a step back and really looking at tough situations for what they are, Chief encourages us to find the silver lining in these moments.
On “We’ll Be Alright,” Chief shared,
“A track meant to induce nostalgia while simultaneously serving as a reminder that whatever you’re worrying about might not actually be THAT bad.”
