LVRBOY has only been putting music out since September, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t already an indie pop mastermind. A self-described hopeless romantic, LVRBOY convinces us that love and heartbreak are worth talking about. Less than a year into his career, the Nashville based artist is already exceeding all of our expectations with his mesmerizing new single, “change my mind.”
Putting the incredible hook aside, “change my mind” releases an otherworldly blast of stirring electronics paired with LVRBOY’s emotive lyricism. To write “change my mind,” LVRBOY was inspired by a pesky ex-girlfriend who refused to let him forget about her. Although that may have been a burden for him at the time, we’d say it was worth the trouble for creating an impeccable song.
On “change my mind,” LVRBOY shared,
“The idea for ‘change my mind’ came about after countless calls and texts from an ex attempting to make me miss her. The fact was, although it did, in fact, make me miss the times we had, it didn’t change my mind about not being with her.”
