It’s not often we hear of rising artists hailing from Scotland, so we have an exceptionally special treat for you today by the name of Catholic Action. The Glasgow quartet is undeniably taking the indie rock world by storm with their guitar driven tracks and it’s quite the spectacle. Ahead of their sophomore album, Celebrated By Strangers, Catholic Action is channeling their purest selves in “Another Name for Loneliness.”
Beneath the booming percussion and jangly guitars, we hear charming twinkles that really bring the thoughtful track to life. Catholic Action sets us on a mission to revive the youthfulness we once embodied as innocent children in “Another Name for Loneliness.” Although you may remain cynical, Catholic Action is here to let you know that it’s okay to open your heart and appreciate love for the goodness it brings.
On “Another Name for Loneliness,” Catholic Action shared,
“This song is about rediscovering pure, joyful, and meaningful love as an adult. And learning not to question it.”
