Straight out of Lexington, Kentucky is the latest and greatest of pop rock that goes by the name of Rags and Riches. The eclectic duo is comprised of brothers Tanner and Peyton Whitt, who embarked on their first headline tour just last year. Their first release of 2020, “Edge of Time” continues to blow our minds as Rags and Riches craft yet another spectacular track.
With the immaculate stage presence of twenty one pilots and otherworldly vocals reminiscent of Brendon Urie, Rags and Riches is breaking boundaries with “Edge of Time.” The zestful percussion paired with stirring electronics creates such a whirlwind of emotions for listeners. As the energetic duo emphasizes in the punchy lyrics, we should always strive to lead our best lives without regrets.
On “Edge of Time,” Tanner Whitt shared,
“‘Edge of Time’ is a different approach than anything we have written. In a dog eat dog world, you need to live large and never settle for mediocrity.”
The intensity we feel in “Edge of Time” is directly translated into the accompanying visual. With intricate choreography performed by Anya Banks and Ashley Davis, the music video throws us straight into the fire of Rags and Riches’ adrenaline. With “Edge of Time,” it’s safe to say that Rags and Riches is triggering the pop rock revolution we’ve all been waiting for.
